Kenya and Nigeria being at 68% makes me feel like this infographic or the data collection isn't accurate. As someone who lives part time in east Africa and has spent quite a bit of time in Nairobi, I have serious doubts. Maybe whoever was answering was concerned, although Kenya has pretty free speech for Africa, well most of the time.
