I always look at stories like these with such joy and love for the world, but it's just occurred to me that we're an animal that befriends other animals all the time. The world has so much joy and love and whimsy; my heart is full of love and my soul is lighter than a feather. Billions must by happy.

We could learn a thing or two from other animals. Treat eachother with some respect and dignity instead of like objects.
And people think animals don't have the same capacities as humans...and then there's this. Yet, we're the ones trying to destroy the planet. Not so smart after all.
Our ignorance, sometimes proud ignorance, will be our undoing..
Yup, treating the Earth like a disposable trash can is probably the stupidest thing we've done as a species.
