Raccoons as pets. Is it good or bad?
I think as long as it has social interaction with other raccoons it’s ok. Otherwise they would get lonely, they are social animals.
You have to keep in mind, a lot of these pictures come from rescues or wildlife sanctuaries - not individual pet raccoon owners.
I watched a couple of videos yesterday. It seems it's like having a toddler with unlimited energy and the ability to climb anything and can learn to open doors. No thanks.
