Yeah. Afghanistan under the Taliban was near being a pariah nation.

Iran is Shi'a. The Taliban is Sunni. But, "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", is a stupid saying. Joining forces with an adversary never works out the way you think it will.

False Oman is not shia and has good relation with iran, same for pakistan. Also hamas is sunni. In 98 taliban killed 11 iranian diplomat that's the real reason
