Question about nuphy Air75 V3 (lemmy.zip)

Hey folks, I am using for all my life low profile keyboards like the laptop keyboards and now I use Logitech MX master keyboars the small one and I like it.

Recently I seen a colleague of mine buy those mechanical keyboards but those with the soft clicky sounds and j kind of like it.

I ended up looking at this one nuphy Air75 V3, what do you guys think about it? I am using Linux at home on my computers and windows at work, so the keyboard would have to be easily connectable to both no issues on Linux.

What do you think about it?

I rock the nuphy halo v2 and they're excellent. If you want the thock you probably want to get a full profile keyboard and not a low profile one. Basically whether or not it uses low profile or normal profile switches. I recommend the lemon switches for a nice tactile feel without annoying the office, but they have a range of options you can order on the board.

I want it to be a quiet as possible, to have a great feeling. I dont want people around me to hear it and to get annoyed. I am looking for that good feel, and nice if possible sound only for me if that makes sense :)

I got an Air65 v3 with blush nano switches. I also got panda nano switches separately.

Overall, very happy!

I’ll say, I think the blush switches are more sensitive to manufacturing tolerances, so I got double inputs on several keys at first even with high debounce. I reached out to support and they sent some replacement switches without much fuss.

Layout’s perfect, knob is an excellent addition. Good build quality, good aesthetic. 5/5

Gotcha, have you tried cordless on linux ? Any issues ? The web app you mean for configurations ? This means will work on linux no issues i guess ?

I haven’t. But it has a 2.4GHz dongle too, so it should Just Work™ like a regular HID if you wanna use that instead of Bluetooth. I would recommend it over Bluetooth anyway, for a permanent wireless setup. BT is nice cuz it’s lower effort for a temp setup, but 2.4 is lower latency.
