Anyway to turn off or control the comment highlighting in 0.19? (lemm.ee)

The instance I'm on just did the update and this comment highlighting is really throwing me off. It's super glaring and unpleasant imo and I'd really appreciate the ability to turn it off. I've looked around a bit but haven't found anything myself. Am I missing something?

It's a bug in the dark theme CSS. On the light theme it's a much more subtle highlight.

Ah, that makes some sense. Would still like more control over if it appears at all, but I'm glad to know it's at least not intentionally that glaring.

As far as I can tell it's comments made within the last ~~5~~10(?) minutes or so.
