I wish I were as young as you.
I remember using dialup on a 56k modem to play MUDs and I've never heard of this search engine.
I am not young, and I may have heard about it before, but definitely have no strong memory of it. I suspect it was of similar popularity to one I do remember: web crawler.
Same era iirc. Right before Altavista and Lycos, I believe.
Might their bungholes be invaded by 96 irresponsibly agitated fire-ants, that had a very rough day in the office.
