I made a blender model and animation of this thing I experienced to show how it looks like and moves, and to use that as a way to find out if someone knows what it is, where or why. I don't know much more and am wondering what others know based on their encounters. It's somewhere at some time, seems huge. The discs are flattish and don't reflect light other than from the edges. I've tried posting in a few communities and get mostly aggravated answers, or overtly focusing on how I got this knowledge (almost like I've done something forbidden when it's not an aspect I care about), and one got modded hidden.

It's the 3-rd time I see this exact question @funkyshoe@piefed.social asked. One of my first responses, at 2026-06-14 06:16:37 UTC was:

As mentioned by @Mr_Wobble@thelemmy.club , more context is required, but the first idea that came is an orrery or some atom/planetary system.
Yet, the animation also shows moments all the orbits/rings align at certain angle. Looks marvelous, of course.

Related: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orrery (...is a mechanical model of the Solar System that illustrates or predicts the relative positions and motions of...)

Yet, their question, and my answer with others' answers, were just deleted by the moderators at !nostupidquestions@lemmy.world at 2026-06-14 07:14:12 UTC for "Rule 5" (for unknown reason, fairly).

They re-created the question at the AskLemmy, and similar answers now were submitted again.

Now, again. It's sorrowful that time and effort of people is just voided, wasted, and obliterated.

Fuck moderation and psycho rules, it's rule creep and over zealous moderation that destroyed Reddit (among other things)- Mods adding more and more rules to a sub to keep it "pure" until nobody posts shit anymore because nothing fits and nobody can be arsed to read a three page TOS contract just to post a fucking image.

It'll kill this place too.

Moderation should be for spam and conduct breaking. If the users of a sub vote and interact on a post, even if only maybe tangentially related, it clearly fits, and should be left alone.

Forums are meant for discussion, they aren't archives or some kind of abstract sorting exercise.

Thanks for coming to my old man yelling at clouds talk.

Oh idk I moderated Mr armchair psychiatry troll out of here pretty quickly.

Thank you for the share

Well that kind of post / question is very much welcome here. My ideal for this space is a combination between genuine exploration of nontraditional (or traditionally heretical) spiritual beliefs and gentle ribbing of traditional / canonical and mainstream religions, particularly the Catholics and other militantly trinitarian or puritanical Christian offshoots. But genuinely exploring a geometric hallucination (or "vision" even), is VERY welcome here.

[–] tomiant@piefed.social 2 points 11 hours ago

I'm down for some good old fashioned heresy!

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 3 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

@funkyshoe@piefed.social, as discussed, your exploration of geometric spirituality is very welcome here.

Interesting community!

Maybe it's the "reality engine" of the demiurge, keeping the simulation facade up

Get checked for schizophrenia

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 1 points 12 hours ago* (last edited 12 hours ago) (3 children)

Hi so I'm genuinely an inpatient psychiatric nurse.

OP is maaaybe describing a hallucination, but they're not reporting paranoia, their language choice doesn't exhibit disorganization, and they're not arguing any observable fact, they're just speculating on a spiritual / metaphyiscal interpretation of the world. Hallucinations themselves even have a wide variety of interpretations outside of the western world that are not pathalogical in nature, and often people in those cultures with similar neuroatypicalities live much longer happier lives compared to those in western society. And even if we do classify it as a hallucination, that doesn't even mean schizophrenia. They can be singularly spontaneous and never occur again, they can be drug induced whether as part of individual's healthy or unhealthy use, or in many cases as part of a cultural or spiritual ritual.

Please stop spreading misinformation in my sub about BOTH mental illness AND spirituality or I'm gonna ban you. Or you can feel free to use the block button to block things you don't personally want to see. That's what it's for.

Thank you, dear @Apytele@sh.itjust.works , for the marvel you do...
May you have success, stability, and peace...
Please stay safe!

[–] funkyshoe@piefed.social 0 points 12 hours ago (2 children)

Thanks for your take. Not even a hallucination by the wikipedia definition, there was no interference with senses or what's in the current environment. If one wants to find some kind of a metaphysical analogue, it could be like gaining a memory of an event from another plane but I digress. It is what it is.

I'm more worried about people not recognizing what humans have always done but maybe disregard.

So anyway, what the fuck is this thing you made? Spinning circles? Looks like harmonics.

You know... Something like this:

The synthesis from the other thread is some kind of a multidimensional gimbal lock that displays quantum superpositions getting aligned in a pulse

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Look I don't even really get into metaphysics for the most part I tend to prefer the more grounded spiritual aspects but a) math / geometry itself is pretty damn grounded and b) the fascists won't see much of a difference while they're gunning us down so there's not much point in me trying to create a divide between us either.

[–] funkyshoe@piefed.social 1 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

I'm sometimes interested in how math and quantum physics continue to re-describe some kind of ancient knowledge of our universal connection.

The fash are using horoscopes and esoteric rituals to fuck with us so we might as well learn why.

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 2 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Oh I love me a good esoteric ritual. Gives my subconscious a nice open conduit to yell at me through. Tarot cards are my particular jam. I use the astrology aspect mostly for scheduling observances.

[–] funkyshoe@piefed.social 2 points 11 hours ago

yeah any tools/practices to learn about the subconscious, share or invididual based on philosophies, is rebellion in this age of attention stealing forced energy drainage.

[–] Bohne93@feddit.org 0 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Im not trying to spread misinformation. That was merely a test to see how convicted you are to percieving the holy patterns of the metaphysical world. Congratulations, you passed, please await further instructions.

dooderoni nothing in this is caused by voices or sights that aren't there or difficulties to distuingish what's present or in the current space, no extra thought patterns, paranoia, mood effects etc.

I appreciate the concern and other commenters went there too. Even in online pre-screening quizzes none of the symptoms are anywhere related.

People don't need doctors when they remember where their keys are or get an external inspiration and such.

[–] Bohne93@feddit.org -1 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

And that every single schizo on this planet claims to be perfectly lucid doesnt concern you, because youre just build different, i guess

[–] tomiant@piefed.social 2 points 11 hours ago

You should see a doctor because you are schizophrenic. Don't believe me? That's the schizophrenia talking.

[–] funkyshoe@piefed.social 1 points 12 hours ago

I'm saying that the disorder has actual distinct symptoms to it. And many of the patients and their doctors recognize them and notice a difference during care etc.

I'm not built different, nor displaying anything spectacular or worrisome.
