I'm never one to disagree with a theory that megacorps are abusing their influence to try to make more money.
...but David Tennant is a treasure and I will take any excuse for more of him on my television.

It's not Tennant, it's RTD doing just nonsense for ratings.
Davies hint(s) about what season 15 will look like, suggesting we won't see the return of classic villains like the Daleks and Cybermen for a while. He said: "It's very new. Ncuti's new and Millie [Gibson] is new and it was new to us with Disney and the whole new era, as it were. So I didn't want to look... there are no Daleks, there are no Cybermen, I didn't want to look back too much."
"I would love for the Doctor to meet the Orisha, which were a set of gods in Nigerian mythology, and I think that he'd have a lovely old time."
Look at the casting..
Bonnie Langford (Baker's companion)
Michelle Greenidge (Disney Cruella)
Jinkx Monsoon (Disney Adventure Time & Dragrace)
Jonathan Groff (Disney Frozen)
Pure conjecture. Nothing in the quote substantiates your claim about Tennant returning. On the contrary, Davies has gone on record saying it's not happening.
They are already prepping season 2 without any notion of future ratings, so your argument is completely unmoored from reality.
In fairness, RTD is well known to blatantly lie about what will happen in the future of the show.
"Blatantly lying" is ... a strong term for RTD dropping teasers and red herrings without spoiling the show ahead of time. It does however describe OP's claims pretty well.
Six episodes..? Did a new season get released somewhere in the world already?
Filming started on 5 December 2022 and concluded on 15 July 2023.

Wow, why did they film it a year ahead of schedule? But more importantly, if the season hasn't aired yet, why do they think it received poor reception? Surely they're not basing this on behind-the-scenes "critics" whose opinions generally have no bearing on reality?
It only wrapped on filming 5 months ago… Then you have editing and post production.
Are you Ian Levine?
lmao.
The christmas episode was pretty good. I could have done without all the singing parts, i hate musicals generally speaking. But as far as ncuti being a good doctor and RTD making a good episode goes. This was a good one.
You are entitled to your opinion, but maybe wait until it has all aired to form one, yeah?
If you are just making a prediction then at least provide some evidence instead of pure conjecture.
