Gee it’s almost like this is not a modern issue but rather a condition that has always existed and only become seriously problematic recently due to the narrowing of type of work and accomplishments that are valued in a modern economy. Almost like the issue isn’t people who have all these mental health conditions, but rather an economy designed to only be suitable for a fairly small number of personality types.

Antidepressants in pregnancy do not raise children’s risk of autism or ADHD, study finds

“Together, this suggests that it is not the antidepressants themselves causing an increased risk in autism and ADHD but it is more likely to be due to other factors, including genetic predisposition to conditions such as ADHD, autism, and mental health conditions.”
That’s the point. ADHD is hereditary and depression is a comorbidity of ADHD.
