Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid

No Spam

No excessive posting/"shilling" for commercial purposes. Vendors are permitted to promote their products/services but keep it to a minimum and use the [vendor] flair. Posts that appear to be marketing without being transparent about it will be removed.

Need ideas. I am having a lily keyboard and I am mostly using German, English and Norwegian as language, so on classic keyboards I usually switch between keyboard layouts. What would be your recommended way forward? I am having a hard time remembering all the button combinations and layers. I also find that I am incredibly slow with different layouts on my lily

I create custom layouts for both languages I use such that all punctuation are on the same buttons.

I've been using a Dvorak dactyl manuform for 2 years now. It's quite an experience, but it's surprisingly easy to get used to the manuform layout if you know touch typing, and Dvorak comes to you pretty quickly with a regular practice. I started using Dvorak comfortably after the first couple days, and am now at the same speed I usually am with my qwerty work keyboards.

You probably know that, but I discovered the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_key concept with ergol, and also the Alt-gr layer.

Both are very useful for me now.

I think you can use them to have a nice setup for your three langages you type.
