Yeah Iโ€™m currently migrating, all my important stuff now goes through Proton. Iโ€™ve moved off Chrome.

Iโ€™ll probably have to keep my Google login though because as a land professional I find Google Earth quite useful.

It gets more difficult when you move away from mainstream stuff, video editing and VFX comes to mind (I was going to say CAD but then I remembered dassault exists)

Blender is European. Black Magic Design (who make DaVinci) aren't European but they're not American either (they're Australian) so a bit better

Youtrack is listed as American, but Jetbrains was started by Russians in Czechia and is currently headquartered in Amsterdam.
