Surely the React interface developed in just 6 months by a team consisting only of graphic designers and running in Edge Webview 2 on top of Windows 10 can’t be that bad…

The garbage news and weather trap? The "no one will look at our garbage news willingly, so we used useful weather information to lure then close before pouncing with the most sensationalized and toxic news headlines in a fucking pop-up" that is on-by-default? That they moved the start menu so that people with muscle memory of going to the bottom-left would accidentally open? That one?

Right?

FFS just give us the start menu and the gadget bar from Win7(?) or whenever they brought out that half-baked insecure thing - just fix the security in it.

What am I saying, I've been running Open Shell since Win10 (well, Classic Shell since Win8, but I only used that for 5 minutes before reverting to 7).
