RULES

  1. No bigotry. The Union, or at least the part of the Union WE support, fought AGAINST that shite. We are anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, and in general anti-bigot here, even if not all the lads in Union blue uniforms were.

  2. No Confederate sympathizing. Anti-democratic racist slaver traitors don't deserve shit.

  3. Follow all Piefed.social rules

Ah yes. The great shit hole state of Louisiana always making the news for all the wrong reasons. Can't tell where Trump's asshole starts and Landry's nose begins...

I’m going to need some context…

The USA had a civil war in the 1860s and we were too soft on the losers. Been suffering for it ever since.

The Supreme Court recently decided that taking race into account when drawing electoral maps is unconstitutional. Previous to that decision, Louisiana drew their electoral map with race taken into account. The Governor has delayed the election in order to redraw the map without taking race into account. This will likely result in less representation for Black voters.

Redrawing the electoral college map will absolutely take race into account in a way that discriminates against minorities.
