One is never satisfied with their work and always need to revamp it. Well, this one was quite cumbersome and fickle. I stitched together a few things from my Live that came from frustration. I was beyond frustrated, and nothing was working. I use LEGO as an escape from reality, but when it crumbled, I crumbled. You can see how angry I got... I went back the next day and threw the build together, with more insight and structural integrity. 3 hours later the build was finalized!

As my friend says, "It's some sort of Gigeresque entity co-opted the classic space aesthetic for its own uses."

I know that feel. Kudos for not wiping the whole desk in rage! Your builds are super cool; I like the use of the transparent yellow garage-door-slats in this one.

Yeah, it was quite something, as you could tell. I'm not one to want to walk away when there's an issue, but to try and power through it.. Well, when it comes to LEGO. Other issues are a different story. I felt that using the garage door pieces were a great addition to the concept. Do you see this as being a classic space build that has been infected?
