It was paramount that burned them by scrubbing the theatrical release.

Like they tried to delete the movie?
It's going straight to streaming
Man people get upset over me asking a question. There were definitely scenes that looked like that belong in a movie
I'm not upset, just clarifying that it won't be in theaters.
I don't know about that. Technically all the animators and people involved got paid already, or is it common they get a cut from what the movie earns while its being streamed?
And honestly, since this was to land only on Paramount+, and I am very very sure only few people would specifically sign up for it to watch this, leaking it gives it a much broader audience to appreciate the movie.
The only downside I see is that because it won't be a commercial success there may not be another one like it in the near future. But seeing as they didn't even want to put it in the cinema anymore, how likely was that anyway?
I feel bad for the animators and crew who worked on it.
I don't feel bad for Paramount who couldn't be assed to improve their security with their billions of dollars spent instead on their recent Warner buyout. Fuck them for not prioritizing creativity. The corpo shills deserve to have the movie leaked.
Hearing about how sprinkler aren't going off at the warehouse full of paper products
"All you had to do was pay the sprinkler maintenance crew a living wage!"
