France is being pretty cool. I wish we had des couilles in Finland.

Well, at least we generated Linux itself somehow and then completely failed to keep it here. I still remember how little adoption there was at the start, and how almost everyone who was using Linux back then was regarded as some sort of an idiot savant.

I mean I was an idiot savant, but not because I was using Linux.

Gnome ♥️ very straight and clean setup. I don't speak French but I think the config file setup (to produce the same machine over and over again) plus the atomic rollback feature are the main points?

I work for the CA state govt and I've been saying for years we need to create our own standard operating system through Linux for state agencies.

Thank God, maybe we'll see it happen here in the states in 10 years. Yes, I know, hopelessly optimistic that things will stop developing negatively and begin to develop positively.
