I feel like the online ridicule and bullying has gone on long enough. If you wanna pick a bone with the guy on his values and sensibilities, that seems perfectly fine. But let's leave the kink and fetish shaming out of it.

I'm onboard with this. The guy's life choices are weird, but then so are yours and mine. Also, he's not hurting anybody.

The one person people should be concentrating their hatred on is Kristi Noem. She's corrupt to the core, she cost the taxpayer a lot of money and she caused immense amounts of human misery. Focus your energy on that bitch, not on her weird but harmless husband.

These people don't have any sense of shame when you point out their corruption. At least in this case, they seem to care. So be it. Shame these bastards. The point isn't that drag (or whatever the appropriate word here is) is bad, it's not. I enjoy going to drag performances myself. It's that they preach values that go against this. So, at least to me, it's totally fair game to ridicule them for this.

I think actual LGBTQ people understand this nuance, since they seem to be shaming him too. I'm a little fat. (Not too fat anymore, have been working out. But it used to be pretty bad.) But I don't give a fuck when people fat shame Trump or Musk. It seems to hurt those bastards. Because they're petty and shallow people.

There’s nothing wrong with drag. I don’t mock drag, I don’t mock people for doing drag.

Except if people are they type of people to fucking denounce drag, encourage making it illegal, demonize those who do it as soddomites and pedophiles, etc. and then get caught doing it.

Those people should actively be shunned as the fucking hypocritical gatekeepers that they are.

Not because drag is bad, but because it’s a way to hurt them. And there needs to be some repercussions.

Maybe that’s eye-for-an-eye shit but it’s not like I’m physically assaulting them or worse. They should just grow the fuck up and defend the thing they love instead of trying to be a fucking bully while secretly enjoying the party. They’re just getting their rocks off on everyone else’s misery.

Same with closeted homophobes, drug using DEA agents, pretty much any ICE agent, etc

Just fight FOR what you love.

Attack the hypocrisy, not the big juicy jugs.

I suppose I just don't see immediate relevance of the greater LGBTQ community's overarching view on the matter. While they may be involved in various fetish lifestyles, fetishism as a whole isn't a queer-centric thing. We're all in that space together.

That's not meant to dismiss or disregard, but rather suggest it shouldn't be a singular motivating factor to a person's stance on the issue.

Nobody cares about his kinks

Everyone cares about their fucking blatant hypocrisy, which is just emblematic for the trump administration

I'm not laughing at him. It's his kink, it's whatever.

I'm laughing at her for (at least publicly) not knowing that he was a woman on the weekends.

I don't know if that last part is accurate.
