I appreciate the attempt to carve a space for skateboarding in a format that’s more amicable to other professional sports. I’m curious whether they are going to continue letting captains name their own teams, I kind of like the creativity, but having no static team names would be a big departure from most sports and probably a detriment to people developing β€˜ home team loyalty.’

I think expanding it to be a short street line rather than just jumping down the stairs would be a big qol boost.

Like a couple other competitions, a lot of times it felt like watching golf to me.

I loved watching the highlights, but much of it was too slow moving and low energy for my attention. I'm not sure I care for the sanitized version of skateboarding it promotes.

Glad it was a thing, but definitely not the first thing I watch to get amped up to skate.

Highlights were dope though.
