It's kinda like Flash Gordon (1980) - not as polished as Star Wars, but still a lot of fun. A great movie to watch with friends.
It's not high art, but Christopher Plummer, who won an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a couple Emmies (and a bunch of other awards) took a role in it bc he wanted a free trip to Rome!
John Barry soundtrack goes hard too.
