I mean, I get that they don't want to be part of Trump's group, but the article titles are explicitly opposite one week later.
I also think Iran saying they only target US and Israeli ships has eased off some tension for Macron here

Titles are whatever, but what he said earlier was that they might take part in the opening of the straits, after the hostilities are over. Now he said said that they will never take part in the hostilities. So yeah, more or less the same stuff.
