Why don’t presidents fight the war? Why do they always send the poor?
If people weren't poor and desperate, they wouldn't sign up to be mercenaries so quickly.
Never enough money for wars with an actual cause, either. Only enough money for the worst imperialist ghoulery imaginable.
Like how the Lend-Lease Act before the US entrance to WW2 was extremely controversial, or how Ukraine has been starved of US aid for the past year on grounds of 'fiscal responsibility' even as we obliterate billions in materiel and the world economy on an unprovoked and entirely unnecessary attack on Iran.
Can't even get it right by fucking mistake. Like answering "C" on every multiple choice question, except the ones where the answer is actually "C".
