It's like she just don't care! We're fostering, but it feels like we're being adopted. Kinda like, "this is my safe space now, deal with it"... and ya know what?, I am lol. She's too sweet (and bitchy, but also really sweet)

That's one of the thing I love about cats. They refuse to compromise who they are. I respect that. Dogs will literally do whatever it takes to please you, and I love them to pieces too, but there's just something about cats determining their own path that you can't help but acknowledge. They know they don't technically need you, you're just warm and comfortable, but they know full well that they could slice your throat and escape and survive in the jungle if they wanned.

My cat prefers to lay on her side but stretched out like this. Then she'll use her claws in the carpet to pull herself towards a toy or something because she is too lazy to get up.
