I’ll give one example:
- Buy a new pair of running shoes
- Get new glasses
- Apply to career opportunities online
"buy a new pair of running shoes as a healthy person" is easy, but "buy a new pair of running shoes as a person with issues" can be significantly harder. I have lots of unfinished tasks that would be easy for a normal/healthy/sick-but-not-in-THIS-way person.
Real. It takes a lot for me to go through with those, but there are sort of catalysts.
I had to buy new shoes when the treads on my were worn smooth and I kept slipping on things. There were also some tiny holes along the bendy bit at the top and it rains a lot where I live...
I sold all my btc (~.5) awhile ago and used it to get laser eye surgery so I'll never have to buy things that live on my face ever again, or at least for a really long time. So worth it. Glasses are really annoying, and I hated buying new ones... sometimes the shops didn't have any you would like.
I have no energy left to apply to places. I've been unemployed for almost six months now... I would get some traction when I wrote a specialized cover letter but that took up a lot of my energy, and it's emotionally draining to pretend to be excited about a job when it's just a fucking job. >_< Even with that I got 3 interviews out of ~200 applications, which didn't go anywhere. I've had my resume looked at and everyone says it's great. I'm on a break year from school, so I guess no one wants to hire me because of that. ;-;
Three?! Are you trying to kill me?!
Just lock yourself in the walk-in freezer to give yourself a moment to reflect on why you hate The Tasks.
