Openly declaring that you will not be supporting your constituents ought to be an immediately disqualifying action.

Wow, someone worse than Ken Paxton.

There's always someone worse. Waiting for this or that person to kick the bucket isn't a viable strategy. We need to make being a raging asshole an unelectable quality again.

Aaron Reitz vows to “destroy the left” if elected Texas attorney general

Translation: I will be a partisan enforcer/thug. The American experiment has gone wildly off the rails, and a plurality of voters are here for it.

Reitz’s mentors advised him to stay out of this latest conflict, even if he had to find a different job. He showed up anyway, climbing through the power vacuum to an insider role helping investigate the whistleblowers’ claims on Paxton’s behalf. After poking around, Reitz said he quickly knew where his loyalties lay.

“I remember talking to Paxton, I said, ‘Look, I’m all in here. I’m with you. I think you’ve just been done dirty, dirtier than any politician I can recount, other than Donald Trump,’” Reitz told The Texas Tribune.

Translation: he offered me a sweet career deal if I'd help him avoid prosecution. Being the ambitious and bigoted little shit I am, I jumped at that deal.

Sounds like he'll be worse than Paxton, because he's still young and green with something to prove.
