They depend on it. Capitalism is an act of imbalanced need. I need money to survive, so I'm willing to trade my time for less than its worth to someone who does not need money to survive. Everything else is window dressing. At its core, capitalism is the violent act of abusing the poor.

Unless we have social systems in place that provide for basic needs like healthcare, housing, and food, then there is no such thing as a free market.

I believe it's a matter of time until people start becoming radicalized enough to attack billionaire assets like Yachts. I was reading the ministry for the future and a section of the book dives into the possibilities of average citizens making drones to take out things like their private jets.

With something like a yacht, it's stationed in the middle of the water with very little in the line of defences. You'd have to imagine they must have something to handle torpedos or underwater drones, but if the armies are having trouble with anti-UAV technologies, why would anyone expect a yacht to have one?

We can't leave this front up to the Orca alone to fight.

It's a good thought, but we'd need a way of tracking their ships and locations.

Yes. Simply enough. For someone to be ultra rich, many people need to be poor.
