But how... And are there other sized drives that are also being reasonably priced?

I looked, they only seem to have smaller old NVMEs at reasonable prices. And those are mostly in store only.

Even decent PCI Express 4.0 drives are 500 bucks.

And their site sucks, so determining whether they are old or modern drives can be hard unless you take the model number and search for it elsewhere, or if you already know.

Seems they expect all shoppers to only care about drive size and connection type and price, nothing else.
