I've never done something like this before, but I thought I'd try it since I couldn't find anything in this style online. There's a few things I couldn't find out how to change (like the background color for the themes that aren't coal) and a few settings that I couldn't figure out what they changed so if you have any alternations you'd make please let me know, as I'm still not sure if I'm quite happy with it yet.

Looks cool, it's a very unique color. How are you finding fluxer so far?

I’ve only signed up today but so far it’s been fine, seems like the most viable Discord alternative for me and my non-techie friends for now. I gave them a list of alternatives to try and they liked this one the most.

Only things I’ve found annoying so far are the notification sound (can be changed with the Plutonium subscription, which means you can change it for free once self-hosting becomes viable), bad noise suppression and missing audio when sharing your screen, but the roadmap looks promising and they’ve got a lot of funding with their lifetime supporter package so as long as they act responsibly it could be everything we’ve wanted from an alternative to Discord.

Good to know. Did your non-techie friends try stoat? Did they dislike anything about it?

I don’t think they tried it, it was the last one on my list because I personally didn’t have a good experience with it when I tried it. The app’s just a bit too buggy. Fluxer is a lot more stable. Will have to wait to see how further development goes before fully committing, though.
