scurvy shot

Do "shots" exist for vitamin deficiencies? I thought scurvy prevention mostly came down to diet.

Yeah, it's from vitamin C deficiency so you just need to get enough in your diet. I just checked, and a shot does exist:

Ascorbic acid injection is used to treat scurvy (Vitamin C deficiency) in patients who cannot take the medicine by mouth.
