Coming from an island nation... the idea of borders is strange. We've got a big-ass ocean (big ass-ocean) deciding for us where the county stops.
I get the idea. Just it's novel to me that an arguably arbitrary line right there is another country.

And that which side of that line you happen to be born on may shape your entire future.
We have the urban/rural and indigenous/coloniser accidents of birth for that.
Tbf, that's how it started. The reason why that line exists is because of war and killing and people politically deciding that this line is how they will separate people.
No borders, no nations!
