I need fewer apps on my devices anyways.

At least on desktop, most social medias work great on browsers.

yeah this is not happening on my end. I am less than willing to register a video selfie to prove my age, let alone send my ID to who knows who just to access a bunch of shit. Especially after the last data breach that, apparently, shouldn't have happened since they say they delete everything as soon as verification is completed.

Time to explore element and the other discord alternatives; I wasn't using it that much anyway.

Are they gonna make everyone do it or are they just going to restrict your access to adult channels or something. If so, I won't care, I'm not on any sensitive anything on Discord. If it's everybody, well then, my Discord career is over, not that I really care anyway. Nobody's getting ID verification from me, certainly not a fucking shitty chat app.

Quote from the article:

the Discord team noted that all accounts will end up as teens by default, with various restrictions in place, unless you go through manual age verification processes.

I guess you are just restricted from viewing adult content it seems.

Anyone know any alternatives yet, that are normie friendly? Friends won't switch if it's not simple.
