This is not a distant story or breaking news. This is me and my family living in Gaza, where danger is now in the water we drink and the air we breathe. We are surviving in overcrowded tents as respiratory illnesses and hepatitis spread silently around us. Children who escaped the bombs are now suffering from fever and dehydration. They survived the war, but they may not survive the disease.
