I want to believe, but the cynic in me refuses to believe anyone other than that grandfather is real. people just aren't that nice anymore.
A lot of people want to be. The current world makes it so that it's less people won't, but can't figure out how.
Often, if 1 person starts something, and it's seen to help, others will join in. It just takes 1 person to start it, and another to make it a group activity.
Become the person this story inspired you to be.
People who perform these acts of kindness are not tasked with it. They do it because they see that it is needed.
It doesn't matter if it's true, if it inspired you to do something for the betterment of society, that is good enough.
People are good. Believe it.
If you need to see how much love there is in this world, drop by your local airport and wait in the arrivals section. Ten minutes will do it. There is so much love.
I know it's difficult in these times of dread and upset, but the love and kindness is there.
Jesus I'm tearing up now
They're gonna get a library so big that a bigot's gonna want to burn parts.
There is something wrong with the text in the images. It gets really blurry towards the end.
I sure hope this is real. I need to believe there is a shred of decency left in some people.
I highly recommend reading Humankind by Rutger Bregman. It made me feel better about us as a species.
Thanks. I totally will.
I found an FB group for "Books for BrAvery" and it seems like it could be the one from the story. Even if not, it still looks like a real thing, so I'm pretty sure that someone is donating books to children's hospital, which is still pretty wholesome, in my opinion
Jesus that made me cry.
As someone who has had to spend a lot of time in hospitals, especially when I still worked and was away from family and friends for work trips, stuff like this is amazing.
It's great to see good people still exist.
That book? - - the kama sutra.
Give 'em something to live for
The kids have to learn about TekWar sooner or later.
Tangencial, I wish mostly text-in-a-image posts had at least a text transcription
