2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
There isn't a bad Seaforth! scent. This one is not exception. Wonderful leather fragrance. It has been over 3 years since this razor was honed. I noticed it only because the performance was not what a Fili 12 can deliver. It still gave me a close, comfortable shave.

Great shave, despite this soap being pretty mid. I love the scent of it so it's worth using, for sure. Speaking of scent, Friends to the End is amazing.

Went with the real deal Tobacco Vanille with Haverford soap today. I don't use it much because I just have a small split and I have plenty of other fragrances but dang it's good!
Tub loaded, face lather. Overall the G-Bar is my favorite razor because I just like how it feels in the hand and it's just a good form factor, but the Junior is a nice efficient shaver.

It's pretty hard to find a bad GEM razor imo.
Agreed! I have 2 GEMS and several DEs and I use the GEMS at least half the time. I only like my Gillette Tech and Slim anywhere near as much.
Today's challenge soap is The Art of Shaving - Sandalwood. I had a puck of this that I gave away last year because it gave me a little bit of burn, now I'm kicking myself for letting it go just thinking of all the points I just lost!
Proraso Red, which is scented with sandalwood, is always an acceptable shave. The lather isn't amazing by any stretch, but it gets the job done pretty easily. I also quite like the scent.
