This has a good old 60Hz mains transformer and a little linear regulator board in there. Should be good enough. Didn't need it, but for that price that doesn't even cover shipping. I certainly didn't need one, but I wanted it anyway!

I have a Radio Shack version that was my Dad's. Probably from the late 70s. It's in my garage, somewhere. I used it to power air solenoid valves for a Halloween jump-scare I built.

I think it's one of those "12V" supplies that's actually 13.8V, or the nominal car battery voltage. I guess people used these to power 1970's car electronics like CBs?
