Neat, the trees host microbes that can capture additional gases besides CO2, and they're looking into which trees host the most effective microbes. Seems like a lot of discoveries lately have been about beneficial microbes like some gut bacteria or the ones that breakdown plastics into basic compounds. Maybe they'll find one that breaks up misfolded proteins next.
