Another gem from this moron. Apparently creativity is the same thing as censorship. And apparently if you don't support censorship, you don't need to support creativity...

Apparently deleting posts and banning users for having a different opinion is not censorship, because I can still write stuff down with pen on paper and pass it down to my neighbours to share!

Then goes on to say how anti-ai boils down to anti-capitalism. Well, DUH. That's exactly my point, supporting AI slop is supporting capitalism 🤦

For the record and transparency, I didn't ban this person, or remove the other comment and ban that person. These actions were taken by someone who gets paid a lot more than me.

I just want to inform you that you can generate images without using corporate sites if you have a GPU with enough VRAM, and it's pretty easy. I do so, because i don't want to be dependent on corpos and can't draw for shit, and my photoshop skills are not advanced enough. Generating an image cost me less power than my microwave uses in 15 seconds - thats not enough to "destroy the environment", and it scales even better in a datacenter..

The training is a one time cost - the model can then be used unlimited times. That's a pretty good investment.
