In 2023, the British government introduced the Online Safety Act and were trying to force people to make Digital ID's. At first, they cancelled the mandatory ID's but you will still need to do age verification to play even single player Minecraft and access social features like the chat. So if you want to use commands in your single player world then you can't do that. It's unclear how Mojang will react to mods that circumvent this and they might prohibit mods that get around this. You do not need to use Digital ID but there are other methods such as a selfie or mobile phone or credit card check. However, that is still a huge risk of data privacy and personal information.

Yeah that's one way to do it, they won't dare to harm Bedrock though because of Marketplace I bet
