Well, the bar would make you trip so if you fall behind you will hit your head, if you fall in front you will be like grated cheese, and if tgere are many cars...yeah okay, let's stop my imagination
I like to mention "Motor Mania" (Disney, 1950) from time to time, but I've apparently been sleeping on other mid-century satirical anti-car cartoons. Nice find!
