Hey quick question are there any religions in Iran where you take your shoes off before going into areas of prayer?

[–] oscardejarjayes@hexbear.net 18 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

They're really half-assing this one, huh?

Looks like they got nothing to go of.

I'm flabbergasted by the extreme lack of violent footage out of Iran for Western media to play on repeat. I was expecting at least a few videos of protesters or rioters getting mowed down somewhere and then Western media could make up the rest and add a few stories about rape here and there. Multiple people have travelled out of Iran and taken their phones with them too and there's Starlink.

But so far, nothing really. Which is strange since even Iran acknowledged casualties.

Iran jammed Starlink, which was thought to be impossible. Rumors say that it’s Russian technology. This may have cut the chaos monkeys off from their handlers.

I'm sure they jammed some big cities but I doubt they jammed it nationwide. Jammers are usually area specific and they don't go extremely far. Unless Iran completely packed with anti-starlink jammers there must be some working starlinks. Iran is yuge.

Through the magic of talking out my ass, perhaps it really is possible to block virtually all of Iran. By pointing the jammers directly at the satellites as they fly by, flooding them with noise.

it's testament to the american propaganda machine that this action is leveraged to bolster consent manufacturing effectively.

No they probably got it, but they can't fathom how to explain why the peaceful protesters all have guns

Wait isn't their supreme leader giving his police Viagra so they can rape protestors or something?

Out of the incubator and into the fire.

That was a common talking point to manufacture consent for the toppling of Gadaffi, which turned out to be completely fabricated. They are probably alluding to the ridiculousness of consent manufacturing in the past.

Everyone knows you can't burn someone while they're wearing shoes

This is the "no effort" fascist government.
Don't expect them to do any effort to convince you.
