I enjoyed the read. Things are very much in turmoil and the question of what was I doing, why, and should I have done something else is a very shared experience.

oh sure, I had the quarter life crisis haha. I'm in my Kate thirties now, but that what the hell am I doing feeling will show up periodically haha. it's part of life

I suppose we all walk through life alone with these feelings. I take solace that in crossing paths, we can see that our journeys are similar.

I had to do a lot of clicking to find out what "YAGUI" stands for. Saving you the clicks, it's "You Ain't Gonna Use It", though from what I read "Young Adult Graphical User Interface" is almost as relevant, so do with that what you will.

Fair point Nemo - I suppose I wanted it to be revealed at the end, but I know that I would not like "Young Adult" to part of the speculation for I am, obviously, a crusty old vampire.

I appreciate your feedback and will have a ponder.

You might also consider the similarity to Yaoguai and whether that is fun or not.
