The real danger in Oakland is OPD driving through city streets at 80mph, ignoring stop signs and red lights without even bothering with a siren or lights. I don’t think these will help.

It's crazy that we spent 2m on countless survialiance cameras for ICE and yet for something that might actually improve safety we can only afford 18.

I'm not sold on cameras over infrastructure but what type of cameras OPD and their simps on council prioritize is shameful..
