America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Unilever has their dirty fingers in everything. Really tough to boycott, but I think I'm in the clear.
McDonald’s would have been tough for me personally, but they changed the delivery radius for all their restaurants last year, seemingly to specifically exclude me. So that took care of itself.
I had to stop eating Ben & Jerry's because of those assholes
Double check your beer for AB InBev; they’ve got their fingers in everything. Diageo has a ton too.
I live in a city well known for its beer. So avoiding them will be simple.
If you're in Canada drinking beer, support the local craft breweries. There are plenty to choose from, and unlike the US most aren't bought out by the biggest beer makers.
this essentially boils down to support small local mom and pop businesses. Cherry picking specific companies is not exhaustive and doesn’t get to the root of the problem.
For me in Europe that is not much of a problem. But elsewhere there are food and services deserts where this may not be feasible.
Visa and Home Depot are my only ones. I'll work on that.
Home Depot usually ends up on the wrong side of everything.

Not at all. But is there any other real alternative to either visa or Mastercard?
Many European countries have their own national alternatives, but there doesn't seem to be much interoperability going on between countries.
I haven't touched Visa or Mastercard (or American Express or Discover or ...) in a quarter of a century.
In Canada: Interac Debit, you don't get any perks at all (but it is a lot cheaper for the merchant).
From the US: Amex, Discover, DCI, probably aren't muchbbetter.
If you drink then trying to avoid AB Inbev and Diagio will be pretty fucking hard.
I drink. Tea. Loose leaf. No blends. Preferably from Taiwan.
Just avoid shit lagers and supermarket whiskies (most of whom are shit too). Almost any independent brewery produces infinitely better beers anyways.

Same here in France, however most "craft" supermarket beers, unless very local, are actually owned by massive conglomerates. There is/was a huge wave of craft breweries buyouts starting about 10y ago to get their greasy fingers in this juicy market.
Fair point, I live between Spain and the UK and here in Vallecas there's a brew pub (CCVK) a few streets away which will be good to support!
Also, when being back in the UK, loads of layers seem to have been nerfed at 3.4% or thereabouts. At least on the continent the shitty lagers will be around 5%
If you're in Toronto or Vancouver (and probably many North American cities) for the WC then there are so many craft beer options, wine options and a handful of spirits. If you want beer brewer suggestions:

Phillips Brewing (part-employee owned, Victoria BC, sells many varieties across Canada)
You can go large or small, though some bigger beer compnaies like Molson have bought out Creemore/Granville Island so there are a handful of pitfalls, but bars downtown will have craft beer on tap and steakhouses and suburban bars might have some craft cans.
Ooh! There were actually two names on that list I could boycott, seeing as the rest are ones I've unofficially boycotted for well over two decades and began officially and carefully boycotting this summer.
