It honestly should be counted as fraud in some way, like if they are struggling enough to need to get rid of employees instead of relocating or assigning them how can that be a good thing

The whole system needs to be scrapped and the selfish greedy conmen need to be thrown from their positions in power, government and corporate alike.

Recently a company in my industry started an announcement with "We're doing great, better than we ever have before" and ended it with "With a heavy heart we've been forced to lay off xxx employees."
