I am not sure if it does. It might be more painful for the owner class for this to happen a couple dozen times in a variety of states over the coming months than just one or two days nationally. It creates a sense of chaos as they don't know when it will happen next. A nationwide strike would take at least a month to organize and that means they have a month to basically schedule a production holiday to account for the strike.

10 days is a pretty good turnaround for a statewide general strike imo
