I actually was on a date kick at the end of last year, making those fake Snickers snacks, date nut rolls, and putting them into oatmeals and smoothies instead of sweeteners. If anyone has more recommendations, please share, dates rock.
Makrout are an easy to make magrebian delight. An easy dought with a date paste filling, fried then cover in honey.

Sweet eggs:
In a bowl mix scrambled eggs, with 1-2 tablespoons of water, ground cinnamon, and optional maple syrup and ground ginger.
Slice dates, heat in pan with butter, then add mix to pan, cover on low/med heat, flip
