MAGA tried to shame people expressing joy at Limbaugh's death. Then this clip went around that shut all that crap down. You see, back in the 80s, Limbaugh had a recurring bit where he read the names of people who'd died that week of AIDS, set to party music with a celebratory tone.

Sometimes I wish hell was real.

Really?

Somehow I can't picture someone being that much of an asshole but I guess he was a horrible person. That literally sounds made up because it's so heinous.

Edit: yes he did per Snopes reporting.. He also did it two weeks and felt bad enough (or saw he crossed a line with his own audience) and stopped it after two weeks and donated $10,000 to a charity that helped people who had AIDS.

So, overall, he was a bad influence on our society I'd say.

Understatement of the year, already,

Limbaugh was the origin of much of America's right-wing talking points and opinions. I was there, heard it.

My sister said something like "I wonder what Bill Hicks would say about 2025?"

And I just thought of that bit involving Rush Limbaugh, Bush Sr, Barbara Bush and some other 80s Republican having an orgy, and just replace them with Alex Jones, Trump, Melania and Elon Musk. That's what he would say. Word for word, just replacing names.
