I hate the hyperbike trend. The Class 2 32kmh is a safe speed that gets me to my destination as fast or faster than driving. It feels as fun as canyon driving at 72kmh, I can brake quickly, and bad ground won't fling me over the handlebars at a fatal speed. This guy isn't even riding a purpose-built hyperbike like a Surron, but is going maximum car speeds on regular bicycle components. The mechanical stress from that speed is going to melt everything that doesn't vibrate off. Even class 3's 45kmh feels too fast to react safely, so going beyond that is nothing but trying to find a loophole in all the ways we've tried to prevent motorcyclists from dying.

and yet cars that can exceed all speed limits are routinely produced, legally, without user adaptations.
