Overview:

The community dedicated to boycotting the US until they stop fascism, restore full democracy and start following international law.

Americans have a moral obligation to resist Donald Trump and project 2025 at every turn.

America is a flawed democracy currently being ruled by oligarchs. Stop the backslide! Dont let America become the next Hungary.

America needs to challenge the court rulings of citizens united v. fec and shelby county v. holder, protect the media, implement independent district drawing, and the single transferable vote so they don't end up having people stay home in life-changing elections because they cannot vote for their favourite candidate.

Note that this is just about Trump's inauguration, not his campaign and it might even been an underestimate (see their methodology section for how they came up with the $19 million figure).

Republicans and the fossil fuel industry have long had deep ties. Fossil fuel companies donate to Republicans and they reward the companies with subsidies and not regulating them properly.

If your country is buying fossil fuels from the US you are supporting Trump with your money but don't worry because you have the power to fight back!

The first way is politically advocating for transitioning away from fossil fuels. Solar energy is now cheaper and rapidly improving. Meanwhile offshore wind energy projects have been successful. Renewable energy is the future and fossil fuels are past. Writing to your politicians can take just a little bit of your time but could make a big difference in making your leaders realize that people care about this issue. Voting is very important, you should always vote in every election possible.

The second way is to make the switch personally. Solar doesn't have to be complicated. Some countries allow for balcony solar which is just a few solar panels that sit outside on your balcony, you may not even need an electrician to take advantage of this. The best part is you'll save money on your power bills and help the environment too! When you do it try to tell other people you did it, that way it can create a social effect where other people want to get solar too.
