I got the lowest possible score because I misunderstood the assignment and just enclosed the horse in a single tile.

Thanks, I hadn't heard of this one.

My first attempt got 20. I've refined it to ~~63.~~ ~~64~~ 68, I think I got it. That seems to be the highest score anyone else has made.
